FEATURES:

Redesigned, refined, and rejuvenated:
Wedges that put the Miura family’s lifelong learning into golf action

It takes the soul of an artist and the mind of an engineer to improve on beautiful, effective golf clubs. That’s the spirit behind Miura’s New Wedge Series.

The New Wedge Series from Miura, the world’s preeminent maker of quality forged golf clubs, preserves the eternal elements of the “old” Series and adds refinements that make the clubs a pleasure to look at and a joy to play. Now in odd-numbered lofts from 51 degrees through 59, the New Series features redesigned bounce angles that work well with the way thinking players like to play golf. Leading edge and bounce angle combine for a quality impact that leads to a crisp, consistent divot. Distance control and feel are available to the player like never before.

“CB57” by Miura

The CB57 head features a medium-sized cavity and a carefully sized weight bar to provide the benefits of perimeter weighting and solidity behind the hitting area. Still, the cavity is not so big as to interfere with the forged look and feel, especially from the address position. The weight bar keeps the center of gravity low, and changes size club-to-club as needed to position the center of gravity not just down, but exactly where it needs to be.

The clean, narrow top line is Miura all the way. The sole of the club incorporates the decades of lessons Miura has learned from watching and talking to golfers, resulting in efficient, powerful turf interaction and the best chance of a square face at impact. The overall size of the head is a bit smaller than Miura’s successful CB-501 cavity back iron.

The RTX-3 Wedge features three new wedge innovations that work together to create our most consistent wedge performance. Feel Balancing Technology, new V Sole Grinds, and a new Rotex Face each work to help get you closer to the hole, more often. The blade design is ideal for maximizing all-around wedge performance.

Get fit for the correct bounce, head style and loft gapping based on the course and sand conditions you play!

The RTX-3 Blade gets you closer to the hole than any wedge Cleveland Golf has ever made. The blade shape design is ideal for maximizing all-around wedge performance.

The RTX-3 Cavity Back gets you closer to the hole than any wedge Cleveland Golf has ever made. The slightly larger cavity back shape promotes confidence and increases forgiveness.

patent-pending feel balancing technology

PATENT-PENDING FEEL BALANCING TECHNOLOGY

Nine grams of mass are removed from the hosel and redistributed to the wedge head for a center of gravity closer to the impact zone. Not only does this improve feel, but our testing also shows this technology has created the tightest shot dispersion of any wedge Cleveland Golf has ever made.

v sole grinds

V SOLE GRINDS ADD SHOT CONSISTENCY AND CONTROL

Three tour-proven grinds feature a V shape with more leading edge bounce to help the club head through the turf faster at impact for crisper feel and more consistent performance.

More Speed and Distance from Next-Generation 360 Face Cup Technology

Next-generation 360 Face Cup™ technology increases ball speed with greater efficiency on both center hits and mis-hits for more distance on every swing.

Higher Launch and Better Feel from Steel-Infused Polyurethane Layer

A bar of steel-infused soft urethane layer positioned behind the lower portion of the face serves two functions. 1) Absorbs unwanted vibration for great feel. 2) The integration of steel into the urethane adds weight, which lowers the head’s Center of Gravity for faster ball speed on low hits and higher launch characteristics.

DISTANCE + HEIGHT + FORGIVENESS

The 2017 M2 irons give golfers the complete performance package with low CG, Speed Pocket technology, Face Slots, and Geocoustic engineering—it’s our most technologically advanced distance iron. Each technology in M2 irons works together to help golfers achieve more distance, peak trajectory, and forgiveness—overall, a more consistently performing iron swing after swing.

New to M2 irons, engineers incorporated Face Slots that help preserve ball speed on shots struck toward the heel or toe, giving golfers more distance and more control—making your mis-hits better and your best shots extraordinary.

Additionally, the M2 irons incorporate a new thin-wall Speed Pocket, designed to increase face flexibility and protect ball speed on strikes below face-center while also increasing launch angle and ball speed.

Further improvements include a new thinner, wider, six-sided Fluted Hosel that saves 5 grams (compared to 3 in the original M2 iron), allowing for the repositioning of 2 grams of discretionary weight lower in the clubhead. The new hosel bend slot also allows for a 30% improvement in bending.

Similar to the M2 metalwoods, the new M2 irons were designed employing TaylorMade’s new Geocoustic™ engineering techniques; acoustics tuned through geometry to create ideal frequencies for pleasing sound & feel.

SHAFTS AND CUSTOMIZATION

Players will have a choice of the REAX HL 88 by FST steel shafts (S, R) or the M2 REAX graphite shafts (75-45g / S, R, A, L) in addition to numerous additional custom shaft options.

The Wedge Analyzer measures every aspect of the swing and uses metrics like attack angle and shaft lean at impact, in conjunction with typical turf conditions,  to recommend to the golfer the correct bounce,  sole design and loft gapping.

It also visually shows the swing to help the fitters explain why the golfer may need that bounce that it recommends.

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for consulting with Rich Thibeault regarding the best shaft to order for my new Titleist driver. I immediately felt that the shaft was one that I didn’t feel I had to “fight” in order to hit the ball straight. I appreciate the fact that you worked […]

Just wanted to say thank you for retro-fitting my clubs. I am hitting them more consistently and the new grips are much more comfortable. Most of all the new 5 wood that you built for me is awesome! I was able to hit it consistently the first time hitting it.

I’m a 12 handicap and decided to use Ken’s club fitting service. After reviewing my swing and testing my clubs, Ken found a big list of problems: irons were too heavy, fairway woods were too light and even my putter was 2 degrees open!! I had my new set of clubs fitted by Ken, and […]

First I wanted to tell you that I love my new irons! And you were right on the money with that 48 degree being my gap. It seems a well hit 56 is 75-80 yards, the 48 is 95-100 and the PW is 115-120.
